Event puncak industri game di seluruh dunia yaitu The Game Awards akhirnya berakhir tanggal 12 Desember 2025 pagi lalu. Seperti biasa, kita menyaksikan sejumlah game terbaik yang rilis di tahun 2025 mendapatkan penghargaan atas kualitasnya. Selain itu mereka yang berjasa besar di balik layar juga mendapatkan penghargaan.
Sejak daftar nominasinya diumumkan, banyak yang sudah mulai membuat prediksi siapa yang akan memenangkan penghargaan pamungkas yaitu Game of The Year. Salah satu tebakan yang paling populer adalah Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 yang memang mampu memikat sangat banyak pemain dan membawa angin segar ke turn-based RPG.
Ternyata benar, game buatan Sandfall Interactive tersebut mendapatkan gelar game terbaik tahun ini. Namun tidak hanya itu, game tersebut juga memenangkan banyak gelar di kategori lain. Dari total 11 nominasi, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 memenangkan sembilan kategori, mengalahkan game lain yang tidak kalah populer seperti Hollow Knight Silksong, Dispatch, hingga Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
